Hello, my name is Tresean Hicks. Unfortunately, on July 27, 2025, my 12-year-old son, Isaac, was hit by a car as he was crossing the street near City Park here in Vallejo, California. The driver was speeding through a residential area where the kids in the neighborhood play daily. I arrived at the scene only to find my son laying on the ground, bloody and confused, his hair stuck in the windshield, and his bike seat lodged in the grill of the car that hit him. He was launched 40 yards (120 ft) from the point of contact to where he landed.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help with the medical bills as well as the funding needed to enroll my son Isaac in physical and psychiatric therapy due to the trauma he has experienced. We want to make sure he heals properly while we go through the whole insurance and attorney process. All help is greatly appreciated and thank you for your kind consideration.
