THIS IS A SURPRISE FOR ISAAC!! Hello! My name is Emily Watts and in the photo above is my Boyfriend and best friend Isaac Kennedy. We're both 19 years old and from South Carolina. We've been best friends since the 8th grade and have shared a lot of memories together. Isaac loves fashion, especially collecting vintage clothing, listening to all sorts of music, taking care of his Dog (London) and cat (Fisher), fast cars, cooking, watching movies, writing movie scripts, anime, traveling, joking around, and spending time with me.
All through Isaac's life, he's dealt with heart palpitations. This causes his heart's rhythm to be disrupted and beat faster than normal. His heart issues are genetic and the palpitations were really rare and short until recent years. It's only gotten worse since he's gotten older. In late highschool they became more frequent, painful, and scary for him. It's gotten to the point where he's nervous to do strenuous activities , bend over, laugh too hard, or be hugged to hard in fear that something might happen. Within the last month or so, he began having these episodes where his heart beats extremely fast for extended periods of time, almost like a heart attack. He's experienced 3 within the span of a month (roughly). One of his episodes recorded on his heart monitor recorded that in one instance his heart was beating at 244 bpm. I want him to receive this treatment so I can continue to make memories with him. I want to be able to go on trips in the future, plan fun activities, and live life without having to worry about his health.
He's been to the doctor and cardiologist for assistance and has been put on medication, but has been recommended that he have a Cardiac Ablation Surgery. For this surgery, they put a thin wire into his leg, up to the heart, and destroy the cardiac tissue that's causing incorrect "timing" of the heart. The surgery is scheduled for 11:00 AM on February 3rd of 2021. We hope to hit the goal by then, but even if we don't, we can still give it to his family to help them by the time they get the hospital bill.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. it's going to be a hefty bill to pay, and we're trying to help out in any way we can, so really, anything helps!
Even if you yourself may not be able to donate, spread the word! The more people who see it, the better the chance we have of reaching our goal.
