Help Isaac battle NLPHL

Donation protected
**Update 1**:
Isaac has finished 3 rounds of chemo therapy. He currently went back to school to start 6th grade. Isaac is still tired occasionally but is generally upbeat everyday. We have a pet scan scheduled in September, and based on what is found on the pet scan will determine if Isaac will need to also do radiation. His oncology team is optimistic that he responded well to the chemo but the pet scan is still needed. If the pet scan shows that the cancer is gone, Isaac will only need to check in with the oncology office once every 3 months. Our total debt as of the end of July 2023 is at $70,000. The pet scan and port removal surgery can put our total over $100,000. I will try to thank everyone who has donated and/or supported us on this journey to help Isaac.

Hello my name is Ed. My son Isaac was recently diagnosed with Nodular Lymphocyte Predominant Hodgkins Lymphoma. He is 11 years old and this type of Hodgkins is rare in children. So rare that we have been taking him to his doctor for almost 2 years now due to swollen lymph nodes and they kept telling us it's just a viral reaction and he is ok. In May we finally had to put our foot down and insist they do more testing to find out what's going on. They did some blood work and almost immediately after wanted to do a biopsy after receiving the results. And things have been moving extremely fast since then. Shortly after we were sent to childrens hospital in Denver for an excision and confirm what the doctor suspected, NLPHL. He is currently doing his second set of chemo treatments in Denver children's hospital. We live about 4 hours away in Gunnison, Colorado. Bills are starting to pile up and my wife and I are out of PTO at work. We both work at our local hospital and have been approved for FMLA, but without PTO we have no income but at least our jobs are secure. We have 2 daughters as well and it's getting hard to travel back and forth every week. The travel is really hard on Isaac after his 8-10 hr chemo sessions. He is sick for almost the whole week before we have to go back do it all again. He is a tough kid and tries hard not show his concern, but we can see it's really starting to affect his personality and generally upbeat attitude. He still has one more month of sessions, then will be doing radiation therapy for a month as well. Currently trying to get assistance through children's so we haven't even started with the medical bills. We could really use help with paying rent, utilities, food and car rentals back and forth. Our rent is 2200 a month with about 275 for utilities. Costs roughly 350-400 each week for the car rental. Thankfully our local hospital has been able to loan us their vehicle they have reserved for cancer patients and their treatments, but we don't think we'll be able to keep it for the next 2 months of treatments that are scheduled. The doctors are confident he will make a full recovery once his treatments are complete. But until then we are just trying to survive. We all really appreciate any help we can get and we will keep you all in our prayers. Much love and thanks to any help you can give.
