My name is Sage (Tenzing for anyone who got here from X/Discord). I'm a homeowner living in Boise, Idaho, and I'm trying to help two close friends of mine through a very difficult situation. Isaac and his significant other, Destinee, have been dealing with a troubling home life since before I met them almost 2 years ago. They are both physically disabled and are on disability income. Due to some extreme financial abuse from their immediate family, they no longer have a place to live. In the meantime, I have been letting them stay in my garage as a temporary fix. Destinee is an aspiring reptile rehabilitator and breeder, and as such has more animals than any place would be willing to rent to. For them to be able to stay in the state with their friends, we need to get them enough money to put down on a place to live (either with roommates or on their own).

Truthfully, the situation that rendered them homeless is heartbreaking. I come from a place where my family is caring and looks after one another. It saddens me to see a home where that is not the case. I have watched their family tear at the fabric of what I believe all families should be, and worse still, I've watched them burn it to the ground. While not everything that has happened, their mother decided it was best to rob them of $36,000 that was promised to them (there is quite a bit of proof of this). This was originally the money they were planning on using to get a place to live, but clearly their mother had other plans.

The abuse and torment I've seen them go through has been soul-wrenching, so I decided to put everything I have into attempting to help Isaac and Destinee into a more stable life. I want to see these wonderful people experience the happiness and joy they spread so often to other people.

While this is far too great a burden for any individual to take on, I believe in the goodwill of the people. If a great number of people donate even 5 dollars a piece, we can make a massive impact on their lives for the better. Even if you think your donation is small or meaningless, it is a massive help and we are ever greatful for your assistance.

I admit, the last iteration of this description was bitter. I watched my friends lose their home because of abuse and misappropriation of funds. I hope this gofundme will help them recover from the family curses that have bound them so far. It would be such a shame to watch such great people continue to experience such hardships.
