Help is Healing--Rose Antoinette needs your help

I am Leilani Martinez, and the aunt and godmother to the the young lady this fund raiser is for. My dear niece Rose Antoinette—beloved daughter, goddaughter, niece, sister, mother, grandmother, cousin—is in the fight for her life.

It started a few yeas ago when she was diagnosed with lupus. This illness turned into many forms of leukemia (I have the medical terms for them if anyone is interested) which she has been and is now fighting valiantly.

Over the past 8 years, Rose has been in and out of hospitals, receiving treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, etc., etc., etc. While she has experienced some healing, recently the leukemia has returned aggressively, bringing with it other health issues that have caused more dramatic complications. All this has resulted in her being back in the hospital for further treatments.

Rose Antoinette and her family need our financial help desperately now more than ever. While Medicare covers most of the hospital, doctor and other medical purposes, it doesn’t cover housing for her and her caregivers, food, travel expenses and other daily expenses. Because of the fact Rose Antoinette's treatments are in different cities all the time, these have become emergent needs. The heavy financial burden on Rose and her family, who did not have much to begin with, has now reached the crucial stages. Trying to balance rising medical costs as well as day to day living expenses has become close to impossible for this dear family. We respectfully and urgently ask for your help in this young woman’s fight for life.
