Help Our Ukrainian Friend Iryna Zhygaliuk
Donation protected
On February 24th, the Russian army began its invasion of Ukraine. Millions of Ukrainians are forced to flee their homes for their safety; our dear friend Iryna Zhygaliuk is one such refugee. She fled with her dog Strekoza.
It took her days to reach the Czech Republic border and feel safe without being surrounded by bombs, tanks, rockets, and air raid sirens. She lost her job and apartment overnight and only has the few possessions she could hastily pack with her. Countless kind locals are helping her in the Czech Republic, but her final savings are running out until she can find employment in a foreign land where she does not speak the language.
As the Russian army continues to wage war on Ukraine, she doesn't know when she will be able to return home. I want to ask those who can donate to help Iryna, her dog, and the other refugees that she is living with. Please help her to thrive in these unprecedented times. Any donation is a comfort, big or small. Thank you for doing your part.
