Help Irwin get treatment for his seizures

Donation protected
UPDATE (4/8/23): Irwin has gotten his surgery and came home yesterday. The surgery went well, and we are so grateful for everyone’s support and generosity. We will keep everyone posted on Irwin’s recovery. We still need to meet with the specialist for a post-op check up and to see if they know why this happened to his lymph node to begin with. Any donations at this point will be going to Irwin’s post-op care and medication. Thank you all again for helping Irwin! ❤️

UPDATE (4/3/23): The MRI showed that the lump on Irwin’s neck is a lymph node that has grown about 10 times larger than normal. It’s possible that this has been contributing to his seizures. The vet says that he needs urgent surgery to have it removed or else it might rupture and kill him. Please donate if you can so we can get him this surgery as soon as possible. We’re not ready to lose him. Thank you for all your support ❤️

**************************

Hi everyone, my name is Maia Rodriguez, and I'm starting this fundraiser for my sister, Hannah, and her cat, Irwin.

Irwin has been having increasingly intense seizures, so we are asking for donations to help cover the cost of an MRI so we can get him diagnosed and treated and help him live a long, happy life.

Irwin is a mischievous and loveable 4-year-old foster fail. He was 10 months old when he was taken to the animal shelter where Hannah worked. Irwin stood out immediately because, due to either developmental issues or a previous injury, his head is constantly tilted to the left. She began fostering him, and two things immediately became clear: his head tilt did not slow him down and he had found his forever home. He now enjoys feeding his addiction to strings, wreaking havoc, and picking on his sister Gracie.

Unfortunately, Irwin suffers from seizures and they have become more frequent and intense over the last year despite medication. The vet recommends having an MRI done to diagnose the cause of the seizures and to properly treat them.

On top of that, we have recently found a lump on the side of Irwin's neck. Antibiotics didn't help it, but the MRI would figure out what it is and how to treat it.

Irwin means so much to me and my family, so we are beyond grateful for any support you can provide. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
