For the past few months our beloved Iroh has been battling with debilitating illness. They've had countless doctor appointments and rigorous testing to get to the root of their health issues, often being met with dismissive doctors, vague test results, a lack of conclusivity regarding what exactly is going on with their body. They have continued to persevere all whilst being misgendered, misidentified, and misnamed throughout this battle. After much searching, these ailments have culminated into the incredible undertaking of open heart surgery as the only option to move forward. Just when it felt like there were some answers and a plan, on Halloween, Iroh suffered a sudden stroke. This stroke left the left side of their body paralyzed and in a condition that required them to be intubated, and sedated to a point of near unconsciousness. As they have gone through all of this, they have been left in immense pain, and open heart surgery is still looming ahead as the only way to save them.

While Iroh is undergoing the upcoming procedure and recovery, we need all hands on deck to help our beautiful, magical, talented friend get by. We are asking for funds to make everything as easy as possible for them throughout this incredibly difficult time as they need every ounce of energy to focus on healing and re-establishing their well-being. Funds will go to medical bills, rent, medication, food, transportation, and any other essential items needed for their health. There's only one Iroh, and we're going to do everything in our power to keep them!!
