My sweet baby Iroh had been acting off for a day and a half, vomiting and unable to keep any food down. Worried, we took him to the vet, where they told us he might have a blockage and would need X-rays and bloodwork to find out what was wrong. It broke our hearts to leave him there and wait for the call, but a few hours later, we learned that Iroh had an obstruction in his stomach. When the radiologist arrived, they confirmed that Iroh had swallowed a rock and needed emergency surgery right away. The vet explained that if he tried to pass it on his own, it could seriously damage his intestines. We were devastated and scared, but knew we had to do whatever it took to help him.

As you can imagine, this emergency surgery was something we weren’t financially prepared for. The funds raised here will go directly toward paying for Iroh’s surgery and any aftercare the vet recommends to help him recover fully. Iroh means the world to us, and we want to give him the best chance at a healthy, happy life.

Although we didn’t birth Iroh, he is our son and we would literally do anything and everything to keep him healthy and safe.
