Hi friends. Our sweet, funny, and loving friend Iris Lomasney has been in the hospital for the past 3 weeks. Her family just received some very upsetting news that their sweet 12-year-old child has an aggressive form of cancer, Malignant Ewing Sarcoma. Iris will be starting a very aggressive form of chemotherapy and possibly a surgery. Paul and Mandi, her parents, will be spending the next several months traveling hours away from home fighting this. They also have two other children at home they care for during this journey. The need to be off work and away from home is going to significantly affect them financially during this time. I can’t physically cure Iris, even though if I could, I would, but I’m asking friends and family to give anything you are able to, to help lessen this burden on this amazing family. If any of you know Iris, this world is a better place because she is in it. She truly is one of a kind and has truly filled my family with so much love and joy in the time we have spent with her and her amazing family. Thank you so very much for any help or even just prayers during this family’s very difficult time.
