Calling our Tribe together to help our OG Iris GG out!

Hi, my name is Lee, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for support for my dear friend Iris, who recently suffered a severe and life-altering stroke.

Erica her daughter has flown to Colombia to be with her while she transitions from hospital to home and then flying her back to the states.

In a matter of moments, everything changed. The stroke left her paralyzed on the left side of her body, taking away her ability to move freely and care for herself the way she once did. Simple, everyday things—walking, using her hand, and basic independence—are now major challenges. Doctor's say that she can recover but will need more time.

Iris is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery. Her doctors are hopeful, but regaining movement and sensation will require extensive physical and occupational therapy, ongoing medical care, adaptive equipment, and consistent support throughout rehabilitation. Sadly, she does not have insurance, and the financial burden of her care is far more than Erica's & Iris' family can manage alone.

She is $50,000 in debt now due to medicial expenses from surgery. She has to pay a portion of these payments before she can leave the country to come back to Florida! Help GG come back home!

We are asking for help to cover:

Surgery and medical expenses with MRI's, Scans, Testing

Food, Transportation, Airfare, and living expenses

Physical and occupational therapy

Rehabilitation and follow-up medical care

Mobility and adaptive equipment

Transportation to and from appointments

Basic living expenses while she focuses fully on healing

Iris is a loving, funny, and extremely strong woman who has always shown up for others with kindness, honesty, and care, GG is our ride or die woman side by side. Now she needs the support of her community to help her regain independence and restore her quality of life!
