My name is Iris Arrivillaga, and I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in March 2022. I'm no different than most people trying to make it as a professional, wife, and mother of 3 exceptional children. Before cancer showed up, I had fulfilled many roles that I have always felt very proud to be part of, like being a military wife while my husband served abroad or now while he is in our community serving as a police officer. I have often worried about him and my family, hoping that they stay safe, but now it is my turn to be in danger fighting against this cancer! I have so much to give and be part of with my beautiful family as a young 42-year-old woman.
I know this is my second chance at life. I genuinely believe in the community my family and I have been part of for many years. In my humble tone, I'm asking for any assistance as my medical expenses keep increasing with treatments, scans, blood work, and all the challenges that continue growing when you fight such an expensive illness.
No matter what, my goal is to survive this and do it with the love and affection I continue to receive from my family and friends!! I thank you in advance for any words of encouragement or contributions you can make.
Iris
