Financial Help For Iris' Family

Dear friends, family, and community,

For those of you that know Iris and the Dunnells family, you know that Iris is fighting childhood Leukemia. She was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia on March 15th of 2021. So much has changed since her diagnosis. She is still receiving a long course of treatments that will go on for a lengthy amount of time. SHE IS A STRONG FIGHTER and we couldn't be any more proud of her. She was just recently diagnosed with hyperinsulinism as of today (10/02/21) as well. This puts a lot of struggle on the family.

No one can be prepared for their child to abruptly be diagnosed with such a mean illness such as this and many others. Iris' Mother, Father and big sister are always with her making sure she is comfortable and happy during her daily home life and throughout her course of treatments. Her illness and treatments have had some good days and bad days, that have effected the family tremendously. Iris' Mother and Father are both staying home with her due to her health, constant trips to the doctors, and the unforeseen emergency room visits.

As you can imagine, the family was not at all prepared for the financial burden that comes along with Iris' illnesses. Iris' father is now staying home from work to help support Iris and his family get through these hard times. They are now struggling to make ends meet with mortgage, food, and general monthly bills to continue to support Iris in this time. That is why I am reaching out to you all in hopes that you’ll show your support.

We hope to reach this goal in an attempt to help out a great family in need during these unfortunate times. Thank you so much for even considering to donate and for taking the time to read about our sweet Iris' and her family. Every little bit helps out so much!
