On Saturday, July 26, Irina Kyrshmaru suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, causing a stroke. Two procedures were then performed: one to stop the hemorrhaging and one to drain excess fluid, followed by a medically induced coma. Her team of doctors is now slowly removing her from sedation and life support.
As she continues to wake up, they will be assessing her state of physical and mental health to determine the next steps. For certain, Irina is looking at 20+ days in ICU for close monitoring, followed by a minimum 7-week stay in the hospital for additional recovery. Beyond that, she will most likely need in-home care, physical therapy, and speech therapy depending on her state.
While most of her surgical costs are covered, this GoFundMe is to help with the high cost of home care, physical therapy, speech therapy, and the cost of living while out of work during recovery.
Thank you for your time and donation. It will go a long way in aiding her in her recovery.
With love,
Irina's Family
