On the night of September 30th to October 1st, tragedy struck my sister Irina and her husband Sasha Kovalenko. Their family home was completely destroyed by fire, leaving Irina, Sasha, my 82-year-old mother, Sasha’s 83-year-old mother, and their three young grandchildren with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Thankfully, everyone made it out alive, but the loss has been overwhelming.

The fire has left the family scattered, with each member temporarily staying with neighbors who have generously opened their doors. One of the grandmothers, who suffers from Alzheimer’s, sustained burns to her hands and now requires urgent medical care. The rest of the family is safe, but the emotional and physical toll is immense. They have lost all their belongings, including clothing, furniture, and the basic necessities needed to care for the elderly and the children.

Irina and Sasha are now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their home from scratch while trying to provide for their family’s immediate needs. Every donation will go directly toward helping them secure a safe place to live, replace essential items, and ensure proper care for the grandmothers. В ночь с 30 сентября на 1 октября у моей сестры Ирины и ее мужа Саши Коваленко сгорел дом. С ними проживает моя мама 82 лет и её свекровь 83 лет и трое внуков. Слава Богу все остались живы только у мамы руки обгорели, но все сгорело дотла не осталось элементарных вещей и даже одежды .
