I am Irene, the owner of a new cafeteria in the area. Opening this place has been a dream come true, and I’ve invested all my savings plus a loan to make it happen. Earlier this year, for the first time in my life, I was fired from my previous job because of my medical condition and the demands of working in a kitchen. Having my own place where I can work at my own rhythm is truly priceless.

As a small business, I’m still working hard to grow and attract more customers, but right now, I need some help to keep the doors open and cover essential bills while things get better. The funds raised will help me cover rent for the cafeteria, buy groceries to keep serving homemade food, repay the loans I took to start the business, and pay my house rent and personal bills. I am working here all day with no other income, and I also have MS, which means extra medical expenses and challenges. Most importantly, I need this to be successful for my kids, so I can provide them with stability and a brighter future. Despite everything, I truly love this place and believe it has great potential to become a welcoming spot for the community.
