Help Irene get back on her feet

Hello everybody :)
As some of you may or may not already know, I have been living in a small village in Koh Kong, Cambodia.
On March 11th I was riding home on the back of a friend’s Scooter and we were hit by a tuk-tuk that was travelling at high speed, and by we, I mean mostly me!
Long story short, the details are sad and boring, my left hip was broken, my pelvis was broken and I have an 8 cm open wound around my pelvic area. Immediately after the accident, I had to have emergency surgery in which they applied a fixator (a metal stick attached to my hip/pelvis to keep it attached to hold it in place with a rod inside and coming outside of my body). Due to the shitty position of the fixator and wound they had to perform a temporary ileostomy, in a few words, let’s just say toilet paper is a very precious item which I won’t be needing for a while.
It will take me around 12 weeks to fully recover and to be able to walk again. I left hospital 3-weeks after the accident with a total bill of 55.000 $. In order to recover I will need two more surgeries and for safety issues they must be performed separately, one to remove the fixator and replace it with an internal plate, and another one to take off the ileostomy. I expect the total cost will be around 30.000$ for both procedures.
In total, I found myself with 85.000$ medical bill without considering the expenses of the hotel I am living at the moment, food and the daily medical care that I need. My life has had an unexpected turn for the worst which money wise leaves me pretty fucked, excuse my language but it is needed.
If I could go back home, where health care is free and where my family and friends could help me during my recovery I would go in a heartbeat, but my accident happened at the worst time! Around the same day of my accident Italy was put on lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, then shortly after so was Cambodia. At the moment I can’t fly back home (not that a 15-hour flight would be possible anyway in my condition as I can’t even leave my hotel room at the moment)
Then last but not least my surgery with the orthopedic surgeon is being delayed because the surgeon is stuck in Thailand and the borders are still closed and they won’t let him into Cambodia.
COVID-19 quarantine doesn’t look so bad now, does it?
Now for a little bit of good news, I am recovering quickly, getting stronger each day and even though I’m taking care of myself alone, people from all around the world are sending me all their love and I am very grateful for their moral support. I have insurance which will cover only some of the expenses but I have to put some of the money in advance and I’m running short on cash as you can imagine.
With this campaign, I am basically hoping to collect enough money to put towards one of the next surgeries or to help towards my living expenses as I am stuck in a hotel alone in Phnom Penh for a while now and need to support myself and feed myself without being able to move and work :(
Thank you for your time and hopefully for your donation!

Much much love from Cambodia!

This campaign has been run on behalf of Irene Bonato, from me, Silvia Bonato, her young sister.
My withdrawal plan is to first put the money on my bank account and then transfer them to Irene's Cambodian bank account to allow her to directly pay for her medical treatments and necessities.

Irene thanks everyone very much for the help given in this particular moment.
