A little over six months ago, Irene’s life was derailed suddenly and painfully with a diagnosis of triple negative breast cancer, an aggressive form of cancer. From the very moment she received her diagnosis, she has faced up with this battle for her life with a quiet determination and grace that is admirable.

She recently finished her first round of chemo, and will undergo a bilateral mastectomy. Another critical step toward remission and reclaiming her life.

As cancer took hold of her body, it also quietly dismantled her financial stability. And as of recently she has also lost her employment leaving her solely dependent on disability to pay for basic living expenses, such as rent, as well as food and other necessity's.

All while recovering from a major surgery.

This fundraiser exists to lift the crushing weight of financial stress from Irene’s shoulders, to allow her to focus on what truly matters…healing. Not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

No one should have to worry about keeping a roof over their head while fighting for their life. Especially someone like Irene who has given herself so freely through the years to help others. Now it's her turn to recieved help
