We are Glenn and Fatima Hart. We are raising money to help our friend Irene Logan so that she can meet her financial needs during the three month recovery period from an urgent knee replacement surgery.

Irene is a registered nurse who is caring for an Alzheimer’s patient despite her physical condition. She frequently works with high levels of pain. Her knee often hyperextends, causing the joint to bend backwards, beyond its normal range of motion. This causes excruciating pain. She also has pain in her right hand and wrist due to bone spurs and arthritis, and she has pain in her back because of previous vertebrae surgery.

Although her insurance would pay for most of her medical expenses, she would not have the money for all of her living expenses during the three month recovery period because she wouldn’t be able to work.

Irene is a very sweet and giving person, and we feel for her. She has had many struggles, and we want to help her get through this one. We are very grateful for any support you can offer, and we thank you very much for your generosity.
