My Journey as Ireland’s Natural Strongest Master U90kg – Help Me Get to the World Stage

Hi, my name is David Harrington, and I’m proud to represent Longford and Ireland as a natural strongman athlete, currently ranked 1st in Ireland in the Masters U90kg category and 10th in the world on the Static Monsters global leaderboard.

Strongman isn’t just a sport for me—it’s a way of life. I’ve dedicated years to training with integrity, pushing my limits naturally, and staying true to the values of hard work, discipline, and resilience. Every early morning lift, every late-night session, and every competition I’ve entered has been fueled by pure passion.

But I haven’t walked this road alone—and I’ve never wanted to. Throughout my journey, I’ve made it my mission to support and uplift others in the strength community. Whether it's coaching, sharing equipment, giving time to help beginners, or cheering fellow competitors on—I’ve always believed that we grow stronger together. I’ve invested not just in my own development, but in helping others achieve theirs.

Now, I’ve earned the opportunity to compete on the international stage again—with the UKNS Masters U90kg event in the UK fast approaching. This is more than just a competition; it’s a qualifier for the World’s Strongest Masters U90kg and the Static Monsters World Championships—two of the biggest titles in the sport.

But the reality is that getting to this level isn’t cheap. Travel, accommodation, nutrition, coaching, and equipment are all expenses that quickly add up. As a self-funded athlete, I’m reaching out to those who believe in what I do—in natural sport, in community, and in heart-driven effort—to help me continue this journey.
