Snail family!

As some of you may know, Hail Snail is a one person operation with yours truly… myself, Io (eye-o). My small business is not only a space where I churn out vegan cinnamon rolls to cure that sweet tooth of yours but it also serves as my second home to me. In full transparency to my community whom ever is reading this, everything I make at Hail Snail goes right back into the business. This makes taking time off for any reason unstable financially for the shop and myself.

The past 4 years I have been suffering from a medical issue that causes me severe pain and nausea. This has made working very rough on my mental health as well as my body many times. I’m finally able to get a surgery that will (hopefully) alleviate the pain on Sept. 25th. The unfortunate news is that I will have to close the shop for 3 weeks to recover.

Time to reach out to my community! If you are able to donate and help bear the brunt of Hail Snail being closed, it would be very much appreciated. And if you are not in the position to donate please share! These funds will go directly towards rent and bills for the shop.

I will be back in tip top shape just in time for our last Flip Side Vegan Market of the year!
