Help International Student Cover Expenses

Hi all,

My name is Nicole Dube. I have been pursuing my master’s in clinical professional counseling at OU since Fall 2022 and recently fell on hard times. It has not been easy navigating life as an international graduate student on a budget and I feel I have come to the end of my tether. Finances for both academic and living expenses have been tight lately, and with the addition of a legal recourse process, I am stranded. There are some resources on campus I have been accessing all along to finance my studies, but these also have a cap on how many times you can request assistance per semester/year and I have exhausted my chances with them. I hate to ask this of this community especially because we all just came from the holidays where we notoriously spend on family, travel, and whatnot, but I would really appreciate your assistance with covering some expenses I currently have no means of meeting. Any funds donated will go towards rent for the month of March, legal fees, and a plane ticket. I am on the verge of leaving for home but have decided to remain in the US until after my March 5th court case because this will make it easier to come back to OU in future when I have the financial means to complete my studies. I am open to sharing a little more information to anyone who asks. Any help you can offer will be much appreciated.
