Hi, my name is Eric, but most people in the music world know me today as InsertFX.

My story in music began years ago under the name DJ Hooligan, when I was honored to win a Latin American contest and was chosen as the MTV Agent of Change in 2013. That recognition fueled my passion and gave me the opportunity to connect with incredible people who believed in the power of music to inspire and unite.

As I grew, I realized the name “Hooligan” no longer represented who I was or what I wanted to share with the world. That’s when I became Eric Hdez. With this name, I founded Ancestral Army Records, a project that allowed me to travel across Latin America, meet hundreds of people, and spread my love for electronic music.

In September 2016, I took the biggest step of my artistic journey and created InsertFX. This is the project that truly feels like me: the sound, the style, the name I had been searching for all along. With InsertFX, I’ve been able to define the music I want to share with the world—EDM that’s powerful, emotional, and unforgettable.

Now, I want to take InsertFX to the next level. My goal is to produce dozens of new songs, collaborate with other artists, and hopefully return to touring, which has always been one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Meeting people from different places, sharing energy through music, and creating unforgettable moments together—that’s what I miss the most.

But producing music at a professional level isn’t easy. It requires resources for equipment, software, mixing, mastering, promotion, and distribution. That’s why I’m asking for your support.
