Help Injured Wrestler's Family During Hospital Stay

On Saturday, December 14, 2024, 9th Grade Penn High School Girl's Wrestler, Emma, was injured during a match. Emma was taken by ambulance to an Indianapolis hospital from the event. Emma was admitted to the hospital and at this time remains in Indianapolis.

Emma currently is under spinal cord observation. She still has numbness on one side of her body and arm. Additionally, she is struggling to walk. She currently has a neck brace and is not allowed to move her head or lay down completely.

Her initial full body MRI came back as okay; however, she is currently awaiting a second MRI for her neck and head. The family will be trying to get Emma transferred closer to home; however, they are awaiting the second MRI and will be speaking with neurologists prior to making any decisions regarding transfer.

At this time, the Penn Girls Wrestling Family is wanting to aid in supporting Emma and her family through this scary ordeal. Funds gained through this go fund me campaign will aid the family with travel expenses, food, hotels, and other unexpected expenses while Emma remains in the hospital in Indianapolis.
