Hello everyone. We appreciate you taking a minute to help support our dear friends family in need. Brian, his wife Denise, and their 7 children currently reside in a suburb of the Twin Cities. Brian was a police officer for the City of Minneapolis for approximately 13 years. Brian is currently transitioning out of law enforcement due to mental health and a back injury directly correlating to the unrest that ensued in Minneapolis this past summer. Brian was assigned to a strike team which traveled around the city handling the thousands of incidents, shootings, thefts, burglaries, assaults, damage to property etc. More horrifying, he was one of the officers that was trapped in the 3rd precinct while the riots and chaos ensued. If you are unfamiliar with the incident, several officers along with citizens were trapped inside when aggressive rioters broke into the precinct, severely damaged and set the precinct on fire. Not only were they terrified for their lives but were trapped as well. Thankfully, they were able to survive the attack; however, the aftermath of the incident is still very prevalent to this day. The trauma that was experienced is unimaginable.
The Go Fund Me will go directly to Brian and his family to help with medical expenses, every day expenses and will hopefully alleviate stress from the family; in hopes to, allow Brian to grieve and start to heal from his traumas.
Thank you so much for your support for Brian and his sweet family.
