A devastating tragedy has struck one of the most vulnerable communities in Afghanistan.
A rehabilitation hospital, a place where people were seeking help to overcome addiction and rebuild their lives was hit by an airstrike. The facility was home to hundreds of patients who had come there in the hope of recovery, healing, and a second chance at life.
In a matter of moments, that hope was destroyed.
More than 400 people have lost their lives, and many others have been seriously injured. These were not soldiers or fighters. They were people struggling with addiction, people trying to recover, people who had taken the difficult step of seeking treatment and turning their lives around.
Many of them were sons, fathers, brothers, and husbands whose families were praying for their recovery. Instead, those families are now facing unimaginable grief.
Survivors of the attack are now dealing with severe injuries and trauma. Many urgently need medical care, medication, and basic support, but their families simply do not have the financial means to help them.
This fundraiser has been created to support the victims and their families during this heartbreaking time.
Funds raised will go toward:
• Emergency medical treatment for those who were injured
• Medicines and continued rehabilitation care for survivors
• Financial support for families who lost their loved ones
• Food and basic necessities for affected households
Everyone deserves a second chance at life. The people in this rehabilitation hospital were trying to take that second chance, trying to heal and rebuild their futures.
Today, their families need our help more than ever.
Please consider donating if you can. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser can help bring global attention and support to the innocent people affected by this tragedy.
Your kindness can help bring relief, dignity, and hope to families who are suffering unimaginable loss.
