Help Injured Christmas Light Installer

Hello, my name is Jessica Smith, and I live here in Old Fig. Yesterday was a busy day in the neighborhood with many homes preparing for the opening of Christmas Tree Lane next month. Like many others, we hired a team to help with our light installation. What should have been a fun and exciting day instead turned into a tragedy when a ladder malfunction caused a young man to fall head-first onto the cement below. He is currently hospitalized as his injuries were substantial, and I am concerned for him and his family, who now have many challenges ahead of them just before the holidays. I would love to send support or funds to help make their holidays a little less stressful.

As a community, we have an exceptional dedication to Christmas Tree Lane and the surrounding area and it would be so wonderful if we could come together to support someone who helps make that happen.

I would also like to thank the good samaritan that came running over to help while we waited for the paramedics to arrive. I did not get your name, and you left before I could think clearly. I was the only adult home with three young children inside, and I so appreciate your help in a very scary moment.
