Help Ingrown Finish Year10, Build a Lasting Legacy

Donation protected

We've had a pretty rough year. We just celebrated 10 years and are about to celebrate 50 numbered releases, so yes, there were quite a few highs, but some of the lows are also lower than they've ever been. I am still hoping we can finish our 10th year without breaking any promises, but our current financial situation is making that look rather impossible right now.  Here's our first step in fighting that!

I am kindly asking one last time for your financial support! This will make or break us, or at the very least greatly shape these final months for us. If you can, please consider helping us finish out our release schedule. Please do not give if you cannot afford it, I am very much in the same situation and completely understand how that goes!

First off, I feel so blessed to have started Ingrown in 2011 and continue to run it for 10 years. Watching it grow and find its way into peoples hearts and homes has truly been a touching and life fulfilling experience for me. I've made so many amazing friends and discovered seemingly endless artists, songs, and sound experiments of the highest calibre. I know firsthand how important it is for not only our artists but for experimental artists everywhere to have resources, a platform, a home. To feel a sense of belonging and community. I greatly worry that we have failed to accomplish this. We have never turned a profit. I hate using our financial results as a measurement of our success, because most people I know that like independent and/or experimental music are like me and have very little money to give. They have to work for it, they have to fight just to stay alive and get whatever enjoyment out of life that they can. Why is our label so dependent on money from these folks who have so little? Poor people can't prop up poor people, certainly not in small numbers. How can we continue if the money and attention just isn't there? We can't.

It is probably all my fault for never running the label like a business, but we were never a business, we were never about turning a profit, making money, or getting famous. It's just really good music by truly sweet people.

Love you all forever and always.

Thanks for everything!!!
