Help Ingrid Explore Taiwan and Create a Film

Hello!

My name is Ingrid and I’m going to Taiwan this summer! I was accepted to a CIEE program in Taipei for learning Mandarin. The program is a homestay (I will live with a local family) for one month (June) where we will study Mandarin, visit cultural sites, eat lots of food and take trips to other places in Taiwan like Jiufen and Nantou. While I received a large scholarship I do still need help covering my air fair and other costs, which is where you come in! If you can, it would be so helpful if you donated, but if you can’t, please feel free to share a link to my GoFundMe instead!

By now you might be wondering why I want to go to Taiwan and there are many reasons. For one, I have always been interested in seeing the world by experiencing new cultures, hearing different stories from people with entirely different experiences, and opening my eyes to what other people’s lives look like. I would also love to make some new friends, whether they be other students in the CIEE program or my host family. Making new friends, even if they aren’t close by, is always good.
