Hi everyone,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Brittany Inez, a strong and vibrant young woman who recently underwent major spinal surgery. While the procedure was necessary to prevent long-term complications and improve her quality of life, the recovery process has brought with it a number of unexpected challenges — physically, emotionally, and financially. She had to undergo an unexpected 2nd surgery to decompress the nerves in her spine, and now she is struggling with the use of her legs and feet. What was supposed to be a five day hospital stay has turned into several weeks with more to come in rehabilitation.

As she focuses on healing in rehabilitation, Inez’s pets are currently staying in a nearby Airbnb that she thought she would get to come home to in order to be close to her medical team and avoid the strain of long travel. Unfortunately, the cost of this temporary housing, along with pet care for her beloved Zoe, Precious, and Sasha and mounting hospital bills have added up quickly.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

• Her Airbnb stay during recovery

• Pet care while she is away

• Out-of-pocket medical expenses and hospital bills
