Indy’s journey began in a country area where I found him dumped beside the road, looking rough with hair loss and scabs on his face. I immediately took him to the vet, where he was diagnosed with Puppy Strangles, an autoimmune disease that will require weeks to months of treatment. Indy also has a heart murmur, which may correct itself once the Puppy Strangles is under control, but if not, he will need to see a cardiologist. On top of that, he had an ear infection. I’ve shared his story on TikTok, and many people are following his progress and rooting for him.

The funds raised will go directly toward Indy’s vet care. He needs to be treated for Puppy Strangles before he can receive his vaccines, as the disease prevents him from mounting a proper immune response.
