Hi everyone. Celestial Arts and Antiques needs some help from our community in order for us to stay in business. We are a small, black-owned, artist-owned, mother-daughter owned, art and antique shop on the far eastside of Indianapolis. We opened up in August of 2021 and have held multiple events during that time. These events includes multiple art shows, open mics, local music showcases, art nights, workshops, and other events for the community. Our passion is creating a safe space for local creatives to showcase their craft and to bring art to the far eastside. We feel like we are just getting our footing, but, as we all know, times are tough, and we have been feeling the financial hardships this year. The lease for our building ends October of this year, but we would be devastated if we could not renew it and had to close the business. We have so many amazing things we plan on doing that will bring creativity to the Far East side community, a community that seems to be lacking in that sort of outlet. These things include, a community mural project, arts and crafts workshops for adults and children, sustainability workshops, yoga, coffee shop, opportunities for local musicians and artists, and much more. We are a unique business with alot to offer and we would hate to see it go but we need to extra support from you all to help us be able to continue to grow and extend our reach. The funds raised will assist with business rent, bills, materials, supplies, advertisement, and other necessities for the advancement of the business. Thank you for reading!
