Help Indu and his family including legal expenses

My name is Induwara Dalawella (Dharshani Gunuwardana is my biological mother’s maiden name.)

I was studying at Rutgers and wanted to finish college; and get a good job, so I could be helpful to my parents for their hard work and to make sure they could have a good life. However, I wasn't so lucky; just 10 days before my 21st birthday I had a stroke from a brain hemorrhage that left me in the ICU.

By some miracle (And it was a miracle; I was told later the doctors said I had 3 months to live. I was also told that it was unlikely I would ever wake up from my coma.) I woke up from my coma but I lost my speech and all my coordination (And therefore my ability to walk normally). I initially spent almost 5 months in Children's Hospital; and a year in a long-term rehabilitation center. My parents took me home due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

My condition improved with the support from the care team (including my doctors) and my family; including my sister, father, mother, and our community.. My family didn't leave my side at all. They went to work and took turns taking care of me at my side. I'm back at college in 2023(After initially leaving) as a disabled student; facing many challenges. I just want to help my parents and therefore I am asking for your help.
