I am a Junior theatre major at the University of Maryland-College Park, and I am passionate about acting and learning from different cultures. I recently signed up for Study Abroad at Yonsei International Summer School in Korea to enrich my worldly experience and deepen my understanding of global performance. Unfortunately, due to financial strain in my family, we are unable to cover all the costs needed for me to attend this incredible program.

As someone training to become an actor, I am especially interested in how performance is approached in different entertainment industries around the world. Kdramas and other Korean media have become a global phenomenon, and I have been given the chance to attend classes at Yonsei, where many Kdramas are filmed. This opportunity will allow me to learn firsthand about their unique approach to media and performance, and to grow as an artist. It will also be my first time traveling alone and only my second time ever leaving the US, making this a truly life-changing experience for me.
