Hello!

My name is Indigo, I am currently living with my partner Nyx!

We are two freshly graduated marine scientists with a shared passion for helping others.

I have always loved to do fundraising work online for others, but unfortunately the time has come for me to ask for help.

Since we graduated we have been living under my father’s roof. Recently our situation with my father has deteriorated rapidly, in short he is not mentally well. Any interactions I have had the past three weeks will lead to him flying off the handle and disowning me.

This situation has put a heavy strain on both our lives. I started a job recently that has kept me out of the house much to my father’s dismay. Nyx and I have been paying our “rent” via grooming and dog sitting my father’s dogs- he has a lot and was not taking care of them. Our rental deal was never put on paper either so if he sees fit we could be thrown out at any time.

Despite telling him I would need to spend more time at my job and him reassuring me that it was okay- since I started my job our “rent” has not been enough.

We have a group of very good friends who live out of state, they have arranged a very good deal on rent for us both.

However, we have barely any savings, the nest that was promised to support us as we entered into our careers was a lie.
