On Christmas, our family experienced something no parent ever wants to face. My son, Indigo, had a terrible accident where his finger was partially amputated in a door. The shock and pain of that day are still fresh, and now Indigo needs surgery to repair the damage. As a parent, it’s heartbreaking to see your child in pain, especially during what should be a joyful time of year.
The out-of-pocket expenses for the surgery, along with follow-up visits, medication, and possible physical therapy, are difficult to manage—especially at this time of year. We are doing everything we can to make it work, but it’s not easy. Our priority is to give Indigo the best possible outcome, even though there’s no way to get his finger back. We want to make sure he has the care and support he needs to heal and move forward.
We appreciate everyone for any help they put towards this. Indigo is the most kind, loving, and sweet boy, and seeing him down like this is so hard. Your support—whether it’s a donation, kind words, or prayers—means the world to us. Thank you for helping us give Indigo the best chance at recovery and for being there for our family during this difficult time.
