Help Indigenous Artist Thaline Karajá Attend COP29

Indigenous Amazonian artist & activist Thaline has a COP29 badge & accomodation sorted. She needs a further £1125 for her travel and food.

Singer, musician, environmental activist and indigenous woman of the Karajá people, at the age of 18 she joined the indigenous movement and the feminist movement. At the age of 19 Thaline began working in environmental activism with the organizations Engage World and Greenpeace Brazil, where she trained as a young Amazonian activist. And in 2020 she participated in the international reality show The Voice Brazil (when millions of indigenous people finally felt represented on Brazilian open TV). Thaline travels the world representing her ethnicity. Fighting for climate justice and the demarcation of indigenous territories. And through her singing she continues to decolonize and carry her ancestry.

She is confirmed for multiple engagements at COP29 where she will have the opportunity to spread her important message, including Climate Live's concert. Due to international payment restraints, funds raised are going to Climate Live UK (registered charity in England & Wales: 1194784) who will directly book Thaline's travel.
