India Brown is not just my coworker at Virtus Academy—she’s a dear friend and a truly remarkable person. India, her husband Johnathan, and their sweet 3-year-old daughter Nyah have always been a source of warmth and positivity in our school community. Tragically, their lives were turned upside down when a fire—possibly caused by fireworks in the neighborhood—destroyed their home. In a matter of moments, they lost everything they owned, from cherished memories to the basic necessities we all take for granted.

India is the kind of person who gives her all to others. She’s dedicated to her students, her colleagues, and her family, always going above and beyond to make a difference. Now, she and her family are facing the unimaginable challenge of starting over from scratch. The funds raised here will help provide them with temporary housing, replace essential items, and offer a foundation as they begin to rebuild their lives.
