Hi! My name is Annika Chinnaiyan and my grandmother from Karnataka, India is the State Commissioner (Guides) of Bharat Scouts and Guides. She and her colleagues are tirelessly helping India's second wave of COVID-19. There are more than 400,000 new COVID-19 cases and nearly 5,000 deaths per day. There is an acute shortage of medical supplies including oxygen, medications, and ventilators.
Below, I have added a description of how the Bharat Scouts and Guides organization is contributing to India's recovery from the pandemic. Thank you so much for donating and sharing! We really appreciate your help!
BSG members have been actively distributing food to those most affected by the pandemic such as migrant workers and those in home isolation in various districts of Karnataka, volunteering at vaccination and testing centers, organizing mass COVID-19 education efforts, raising awareness through social media, organizing holistic wellness sessions, and socio-psychological counseling for those suffering from disease and loss, and support for children orphaned by the disease.

Most importantly, this organization is working to procure and distribute oxygen concentrators to hospitals; each device costs nearly $1000.

Thank you so much again for supporting our fundraiser! We, and those affected by the pandemic in India, truly appreciate your help!
