Hi Friends & Family,
I’m reaching out with a humble and hopeful heart to support my daughter, Indiana, in an opportunity that means so much to her.
Indiana is 13 years old and in 8th grade, and she has worked incredibly hard to earn straight A’s while balancing school, work, and family responsibilities. She is one of the most kind-hearted, compassionate people I know — always looking out for others, especially her younger sister, Piper. On nights when I’m working late, Indiana steps in without hesitation to help with homework, keep things on track at home, and still manages to stay on top of all of her own responsibilities.
She truly shows up for her family and her community every day.
Outside of school, Indiana is constantly creating and working. She has helped with arts and crafts booths, she works with a bouncy castle company, and even has her own babysitting clients. In her free time, she loves to sew — making handmade tank tops, patching clothing, and creating beautiful summer bags and pouches. She puts so much care and pride into everything she makes.
Her class has the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. in early May 2026 — an educational experience that will bring history, government, and culture to life in a way no classroom can. This trip costs $3,000, which is currently beyond what we can afford.
Indiana is not just asking for help — she is actively contributing. She is creating and selling her handmade bags and pouches to raise money, showing her dedication and willingness to work toward her goal.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and family to help make this opportunity possible for her.
Every donation, no matter the amount, brings her one step closer to this meaningful experience. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would mean just as much to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, and for supporting a truly special young person. I am so incredibly proud of the young woman Indiana is becoming.
With gratitude,
Jodi
