Help India - Save Lives, Rebuild Homes

We are a team of friends based in New Jersey, United States. We came together to mobilize resources to help during the public health emergency in India due to COVID19. Our mission is to save lives and livelihoods: by both delivery of medical supplies, as well as provision of food and daily necessities to needy families impacted by the pandemic. 

We set up this GoFundMe page to raise funds to advance our mission. The initial funds raised (~ $46 K) were used to support hospitals and health care centers in India. 

- We supported the procurement and logistics of Apr 30 shipment to be used by the  free-service COVID relief hospitals set up in Delhi, Bangalore and Patna by Doctors for You , a non-profit organization  in India [funded by Doctors for You].

- On May 2, medical supplies worth $12000 were committed towards Doctors for You from this GoFundMe.

- There after, we have been  working with verified non-profits and other organizations who are working on the ground to help communities at large.
