Hello! This is Indi. Indi's story starts when she was a puppy. When she was eight weeks old, she broke her tibia bone in her back left leg and needed two surgeries to fix it. The first was to fix the bone and put a plate and six pins in. The second was around six months old, to take the pins and plate out. Recently, I had noticed she wasn't putting the same pressure on her previously injured leg as her right one so I took her to the vet. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed with osteochondritis dissecans (OCD). This is a condition where a part of bone cartilage separates from the bones in (in Indi's case) her hock (ankle). I used all of my savings to pay for her first two surgeries and unfortunately don't have the money to help her. If she doesn't get treatment, it will continue to worsen and she risks damaging her leg even more than it is. Please help me help my best friend, anything is appreciated!
(The goal I have set is a rough estimate, I've been quoted up to 10 grand for the surgery so the goal number may change depending)
