July 12 Update: Upon further assessment, Dr. Shiva has declined to take over the case as he does not have much experience in performing surgery on a few months old baby.
Family is looking for alternative options close to Pakistan.
I’m sharing this on behalf of a friend of my brother — a young father in Pakistan who is facing every parent’s worst nightmare.
His newborn daughter, Inara, has been diagnosed with a rare and critical congenital heart condition called:
Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCAs
Her heart is missing essential connections that supply oxygen to the lungs. As a result, she struggles to breathe, turns blue, and cannot survive without major open-heart surgery.
Hope Exists — But It’s Urgent
After consultations with specialists, the family was told that Inara’s condition is too complex to be operated on in Pakistan.
Her best and only viable chance lies in Malaysia, at the renowned IJN (National Heart Institute) under the care of Dr. Shiva, a world-class pediatric heart surgeon.
The total cost for surgery and hospitalization is estimated at
$36,000 USD. Through local fundraising and support, the family has already collected $28,000 USD — but they are still short of the final amount.
After seven years of battling cancer treatment for Inara’s grandmother, the family has exhausted all financial resources. They are now racing against time — the surgery must happen within 4-6 weeks.
How You Can Help
A verified GoFundMe campaign has also been launched in the UK to support Inara’s surgery.

Or use this GoFundMe to make donations. Even a small donation — $10, $20, or whatever you can spare — will bring this family closer to the care their daughter urgently needs.
If you can’t donate, please share this message and keep Inara in your prayers. Every act of kindness matters.
