Terrible incendio en el Centro Ecuestre Afines

El pasado 9 de marzo a las 5:30 de la madrugada un terrible incendio arrasó una parte importante de los establos de Afines, un pequeño centro ecuestres situado en Brunete, Madrid.
Iñaki y todas las personas que allí trabajan cada día no dudaron ni un momento y lograron, poniendo en riesgo sus vidas, salvar los más valioso: sus caballos y yeguas.
Desafortunadamente, gran parte de la nave principal ardió.
No eran sólo unos establos; lo que ha desaparecido en breves instantes bajo las llamas era el hogar de estos animales y era también el sueño de muchas vidas: la de Iñaki y todos lo que forman parte de esta comunidad.
Desde ese aciago día, son muchos los que trabajan sin descanso para poner en pie de nuevo Afines. Todo el equipamiento y la maquinaria ardió bajo las llamas. Todo ha de ser reconstruido.
Los que le conocemos de siempre, sabemos que para Iñaki este centro ecuestre no es un mero trabajo, ni siquiera una afición; lo es TODO.
Ha dedicado más de 25 años de su vida a cuidar de los caballos y a transmitir su amor infinito por ellos a todos los que hemos tenido la suerte de encontrarnos con él.
Ha llegado el momento de devolverle tan sólo un poco de lo mucho que nos ha dado.

On the 9th of March, a fire ripped through the Afines stables, in Brunete, Madrid. This is a small equestrian center at the heart of the community. The loss of these stables is so much more than just a small business, Iñaki has poured his heart and soul into building it from the ground up for the past 10 years. Not only have the horses lost their home but he’s seen his dream go up in flames.
Thankfully all the horses were able to make it out alive, though some have needed further veterinary treatment it is a great relief to say that all the horses are alive and well at this moment.
He is working on cleaning, rebuilding and replacing all the equipment. All whilst dealing with medical bills, spreading awareness and dealing with the grief of seeing what he worked so hard for destroyed.
With the permission of Iñaki, we are starting this GoFundMe to support with the immediate costs that will be incurred, such as finding short term accommodation for the horses and replacing the essential items and competitive gear he would have lost in the fire. We hope we can show him that his community cares about him. Thank you very much for your help.
