As I prepare for an unforgettable horse riding safari in Kenya in August 2024, I'm thrilled to kick off a fundraising campaign to benefit the incredible work of the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (SWT). The SWT is at the forefront of elephant and wildlife conservation in Africa, standing as a beacon of hope for our planet's majestic creatures

Established in 1977 by Dame Daphne Sheldrick, in honor of her late husband, David Sheldrick, the founding warden of Tsavo East National Park, SWT is renowned for its groundbreaking efforts in rescuing orphaned elephants and rhinos, nurturing them, and ultimately reintegrating them into their natural habitats. However, their mission extends beyond rescue to the long-term protection of the local community and management of crucial ecosystems across Kenya, securing a future for all of the country's magnificent wildlife.

£55 can fund an SWT/KWS De-Snaring Team for a day to keep threatened wild animals safe.
