Help in Nick George's Fight against Brain Cancer

In February 2024, Nick was diagnosed with stage 3c nodular melanoma. Following this diagnosis, Nick was required to go on Adjuvant therapy medication for the following year in order to keep the cancer from spreading. In addition to this, he was required to obtain PET/CT scans every 4 months and lab work monthly. Along with a yearly MRI of the brain.

We assumed Nick was responding well to the medication because his PET/CT scans had all come back good. Until his most recent MRI in February of 2025, which revealed that the cancer had metastasized to his brain resulting in 14 different legions in the brain. This now classified Nick’s cancer as stage 4 requiring him to undergo immediate radiation therapy and monthly immunotherapy infusions. The strain this put on his body has required him to be hospitalized periodically and miss work at times. His wife, Jeanette has had to miss work to provide home support, periodically.

Nick is very strong willed and positive about the outlook of his prognosis. With the support of his friends and family, he will continue to fight and do what needs to be done to overcome this.
