Help rebuild Elderslie, Jamaica after Hurricane Melissa

Donation protected
Our beloved small-farming community of Elderslie, nestled in the hills of Northwestern St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, has been devastated by Hurricane Melissa. More than 90 homes have been torn apart and our local primary school is severely damaged. Three churches have also been torn apart. Fields of bananas and ground provisions have been destroyed by wind and water.

Families have lost everything. Children are without classrooms, and congregations have lost their places of worship and gathering and the residents their livelihood.

We are a resilient people, but the scale of destruction is overwhelming. We are seeking to raise at least $100,000 CAD.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
- Emergency supplies for displaced families
- Roofing and wall repair materials (zinc sheets, lumber, nails, cement, etc.)
- Skilled labor costs for rebuilding and repairing houses for members of the community.

Every dollar brings us closer to healing and rebuilding. No amount is too small.

Please stand with Elderslie. Share, donate, and help us rise again.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
