For those that don't know me, my name is Joshua. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. My dream as a child was to be FDNY, and I took the exam every time it became available to do so.

I started my aviation path when I began working for a commercial airline as a baggage handler, offloading and uploading aircraft from 2017 to the beginning of 2020. During the beginning of COVID, I became a flight attendant and worked throughout the entire pandemic. Around September of 2022, I started on my journey to become a commercial airline pilot. I enrolled in school to get a degree in aviation, and it's almost complete. After I finish school, I will be a flight instructor until I complete the requirements to become an airline pilot.

As I stated earlier, my dream was to be a firefighter. Never did the thought cross my mind that I would become a pilot, but I wouldn't change a thing. The thrill of watching my family's reactions to their brother/son being their pilot is a different experience. Hearing them proud to have a family member that's a pilot is a drive that pushes me to go harder.

At my current status in school, I still have three instructor ratings to complete. These donations will allow me to reach the finish line and complete the three instructor ratings and receive my associate's degree, so that I can begin my time building as a flight instructor.
