Help in a Time of Need for the Wood Family

Cyrus Wood was a loving husband and an attentive father. He also was a very dear friend to many people. All would say that he was an exceptional man, one who "truly had no enemies", as his wife would always say. His sure hope of a day when "death will be no more" and mankind will see "all things new" kept him determined to endure until the end, knowing that he will awake to a better life one day with those he loved. (Revelation 21:4,5) So his memory remains for all of us as a real-life example of good conduct and Christian life and values. 

Though his legacy is continued and he is far from forgotten, the sad but real truth is that those closest to him now bear the responsibility of organizing memorial services, which invariably mean unexpected costs and burdens in a particularly sensitive and delicate time. Holly has been out of work for the past year due to the pandemic and unlikely to be able to go back any time soon, so the burden becomes heavier.

So we would like to extend an opportunity to the many people that have expressed an interest in contributing funds to the family, ever so thankful that anyone would feel moved to do so. These funds will be used to cover various expenses in the funeral process for Cyrus, and will relieve a great pressure from his family.

Memorial services will be organized soon, and anyone who wishes to attend the virtual service via Zoom can contact the organizer (see below) on this page in order to get the information for attending the service.

All funds received will be directed to Holly Wood to be used at the family's discretion for Cyrus' memorial expenses.
