This initiative aims to support Imrul Islam, an alumnus of Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology, and his mother who is battling ovarian cancer. Imrul, a graduate of the 41st batch in the Mechanical Engineering Department, faced financial and emotional challenges after losing his father during his undergraduate studies. Despite saving for higher studies abroad, he used the funds for his mother's treatment when she was diagnosed with ovarian tumors, which later developed into cancer.

Imrul, the sole provider for his family, completed eight cycles of target chemotherapy and 17 doses of biological medicine between 2019 and 2022, then completed 8 cycle chemotherapy in 2024.

Recently, they have completed 4th line chemotherapy. It worked for a few days but now the situation has worsened. Unfortunately, reports are showing a recurrence of the disease. The doctor said that the patient needs to take 17 dose biological medicine again, otherwise it's impossible to control this disease.
